D'un acteur qui peine à apprendre par coeur le célèbre poème Speak White de Michèle Lalonde, Robert Lepage tire le prétexte à une remontée dans la mémoire : la sienne, du temps de son enfance passée au 887 de l'avenue Murray à Québec, et celle du Québec à l'époque de la crise d'Octobre et de la Nuit de la poésie. Dans ce spectacle solo, Robert Lepage fait naître le théâtre au point de rencontre des souvenirs personnels et de la mémoire collective.
